Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion Review

Hi Beauties,

I think it's a really difficult process to find right skin care products that really suit us.

It is even more difficult when skin is sensitive , oily and acne-prone .

So, I was looking for a good moisturiser to use over my beloved Suncote Sunscreen Gel for days when my skin feels dry.

I love cetaphil cleansing lotion so I thought of giving moisturiser from same brand a try.

Cetaphil moisturizing lotion comes in this 100 ml container priced at 260 INR . 

It's a medium consistency lotion and smells really odd, I just don't like it.

I tried this cetaphil lotion in peak delhi winter , when its extremely cold and dry , so try that even my super oil skin feels like its cracking.

But OMG , I applied it, rubbed it well so that it gets absorbed but it never got completely absorbed. 10 minutes later I touched my face and my had was full of oil. My face was looking like I has applied a ton of oil . 

The very next day I got a huge pimple , still kept on using and it broke me out so bad. ( not to mention I had to attend a wedding with my chin full of HUGE pimples with guests starring ) 

Pros :

1) Has no artificial color 

2) Has a long shelf life of 2 years .

3) Travel friendly packaging .

4) Easily available .

Cons:

1) Does not absorb into the skin .

2) Smells Weird .

3) Broke me out like crazy . 

4) Gives a really oily look . 

5) It makes face very sweaty . 

6) It clogs pores.

7) I tried to use it was body lotion but I didn't like it as that too.

I had really hight expectations from this lotion but it just didn't work for me.

After me my mum tried it and she also didn't like it. 

I do not recommend it, A big No for sensitive and oily skin people. I don't think it will work for Normal skin people too.  But if you have dry skin, then this lotion is for you.
