You guys know my love for all natural products and so I love the brands which are natural , one such brand is Himalaya . I have tried a lot ad their products . Today I am going to review Himalaya Refreshing and Clarifying Toner.
The Himalaya Tonner is priced at 80 INR long back.
I am not Toner kind of a person but herding the benefits of using it I though I must include the step in my skincare routine and got it.
I think I got it around 1.5 years back (Non it's not expired yet) and since then I have tried it on and off.
As it said its alcohol free I was really confidant of it working for me and for first few days it did. I was breaking out crazy those days and this toner is cleared it up . But after a week I noticed that my skin became super sensitive and started producing excess oil. The acne came back again and I stopped using it.
After a few month when my face was clear I gave it another shot and it again made my skin super sensitive.
Pros:
1) Alcohol free
2) Has a really mild but nice fragrance.
3) Controls existing acne.
4) Affordable
5) Travel friendly Packaging
6) Has a long shelf life of 3 years.
Cons:
1) Does Not Prevent acne
2) Makes skin extremely sensitive if used everyday
3) Does not control facial oils.
4) Does not help with the pore problem.
As I said I have oil and acne prone skin , This tone is not for me. It made my skin super duper sensitive and it started producing excess oil which was uncontrollable.So I will not repurchase it.
Imagine this bottle has been lying with me for so long and its still almost full.
If you have dry skin it might work for you but I still suggest to try out other toners and make your own at home.
