Maybelline Color Show Intense Fashionable Lipcolor Review

One of my fav trends this winter is purple lipsticks, ahh , any and every purple and I am sold. Of course I ad to go out and look for a purple that looks good on my . I came home with one from Maybelline color show intense fashionable lipcolor in violet vibe 408

The packaging is bit different packaging from the color sensational range . Color show range is a black tube with the these transparent space in the middle which has the slight hint of the color family to which lipcolors belong. So mine is purple.

As usual Maybelline packaging is steady and travel friendly.

Now coming to the actual lipstick, Voilet Vibe is a deep purple with a hint of pink and maroon, so I think its a perfect color for those who are scared to rock a pure purple lip. Having a close look at it I saw that it has some glitter too but don't worry , glitter is really fine and does not look cheap at all.

The lipstick I this has better formula than the color sensational range of lipsticks, its more creamy and glides on even better. It has a really nice scent to it but it does nor bother after putting it onn.

As far as the stability is concerned, it stays on for a good 4 hours or so which I think is good enough. One application in morning can take you till lunch and then re-apply, which will take you through rest of the day.

Pros:
1) Really nice formula, glides on very smooth.
2) Has a staying power of 3-4 hours, which I guess is pretty good.
3) Very Economical , just 299 INR
4) Has a glossy finish , so no need on putting a separate gloss on top
5) Very pigmented, one swipe is enough.
6) Sturdy Packaging, I have dropped it several times and its still very much in one piece.
7) Packaging is travel friendly, coves stays on quite well.
8) Though it has glitter but they are so fine that they just add to the shine and do not look for feel chunky.



Cons:
1) I wish the lipstick had a stain too but after its gone it does not leave any stain.
2) Another thing that i wish is that the range has more range, I feel the color options in this range of Maybelline are little limited.
3) You you do not like products with fragrance ,you might be bothered by its berry fragrance.


Allover , Really liked the texture and finish of the lipcolor , I think its better than their color sensational range , so if you liked that then you must try this.
This purple as I earlier said is a really good one if you are starting off with purple lips , its purple but not out there.

I will surely repurchase .
