Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2016-Wearable Fashion

Hey Everybody,

So many times we see a outfit on ramp which looks just perfect but then when we give it a second look and think, can I wear them in real life !! A lot of tomes the answer us no, sadly ! At Lakme Fashion Week, we saw a lot of wearable fashion garments and to compliment was LYF smart phone which is a great blend of fashion and technology. Just like wearable fashion, LYF phones are great to look at , easy to use and bonus, it takes the perfect selfies. ( Wink , Wink)

Not that I don't appreciate creativity , rather I am all about the freedom of expression but do we really need all the fashion to just look at ! Don't we need fashion that we can wear in day yo day life! Don't you want yo go to collage or work wearing these garments !
Well, I want wear what I see on ramp !
Thankfully, We saw a lot of designers came up with collection which were very wearable in everyday life. These clothes were not only creative but practical too.
Same is the concept of LYF, the flagship smart phones from Reliance, that are designed to deliver the best. The Phone offer HD voice calling and a very effective touch pad.

Coming back to the wear fashion at Lakme Fashion Week, Nikhka Lulla totally nailed it. Looks like she read our minds before designing all these garments, the collection has all what you want to wear from onsie skirts to fun cords, maxi dresses and shirt dresses. The way she played with colors and fabrics is just amazing. Every garment has this little something special but that doesn't take away from the simplicity of the garment. She also included little fun prints here and there, loved it .

Antar-Agni also has some really smart pieces that you would love to add to your wardrobe. This collection was a bit more sophisticated. A lot of garments had earthy tones and loose laid back fits.

Going to a little more girly casuals which were a part of Urvashi Kaur's collection. The collection was a mix of western and fusion Indian outfits. The main highlight of the collection was the fabric, perfect for summer, the collection looked very easy breezy.

I see this huge shift from super fancy to a lot more casual garments in the ramp. It was great to see so many wearable fashion trends, so many practical garments that you can actually walk out the door with.
Also its great to see a phone being designers keeping in mind the day to day needs and issues. LYF Smart phones are made for all the photo obsessed and Selfie lovers who are snapping every moment of their lives.
